Tower iSUP Warranty & Lifespan Policy

Our Commitment to Quality

Since 2010, Tower Paddle Boards has partnered with the industry-leading factory to produce premium, double-layer, hand-glued iSUPs. While our boards are among the most durable on the market, all inflatable paddle boards have a limited lifespan—and seams can and will eventually fail.

Warranty Coverage

Standard Warranty Period: We offer [2-year, 3-year, or 1-year] warranties, depending on the Tower board model purchased.

Visit this page for specifics on filing a warranty claim.

Manufacturer Defects: This warranty covers seam failures or other manufacturing defects within the stated time frame.

Proof of Purchase Required: To claim warranty service, you must provide a valid Tower order number or other proof of purchase (e.g., original receipt, email confirmation).

Gifts: If the board was received as a gift, the original purchaser should be able to supply the order number or receipt for the warranty to apply.

Grab Bag Sales: Periodically, Tower directly re-sells used and returned boards which are sold as-is without any warranty at significant discounts. As these boards are sold without warranty, they are not covered by our warranty. Warranty protection of your purchase is only on new Tower iSUPs.

Third-Party Purchases: We only sell direct through TowerPaddleBoards.com and our Amazon account. If bought from an unauthorized seller or secondhand without valid proof of purchase, the warranty will not be honored, and any board you purchase this way may be an unauthorized knock-off.

Out of Warranty: After the coverage window (or without valid proof of purchase), any replacement or repairs are the owner’s responsibility, similar to how car or tire warranties work.

Seam Splits Are Not Repairable

Irreparable Damage: High-pressure glued seams are integral to inflatable paddle boards. When these seams split, the damage cannot be effectively repaired; the compromised seam will likely reopen under normal PSI levels.

No Seam Repair Service: Because seam splits rarely (if ever) hold after a repair, we do not offer a repair service for them, and we do not advise our customers to attempt a repair of a seam split. The only reliable solution is replacement.

Typical Lifespan of Tower iSUPs

Average Service Life: With proper care, Tower boards typically last 4–7 years, as we use only the gold standard production process to create our boards, double layer, hand-glued construction.

Factors Affecting Longevity: Extreme temperatures, UV exposure, over-inflation, excessive humidity over long periods of time, and improper storage can accelerate seam degradation.

Care & Maintenance Tips

Inflation: Always use the included hand pump or an approved ePump—air compressors can easily exceed safe pressures.

Storage: Store your board deflated in a moderate temperature, dry spot during off-seasons or extended downtime, as excessive heat, excessive cold, or excessive humidity can affect long term durability.

Temperature & UV: Limit prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or hot surfaces while fully inflated to preserve seam integrity.

Replacement & DTC Value

When to Replace: If your board is out of warranty (or if you cannot provide valid proof of purchase) and you have a split seam, a replacement board is the only safe, long-term option.

Our Direct-to-Consumer Model: Tower skips traditional retail markups, offering consistently fair prices on quality boards.
