San Diego, CA September 15, 2013 – Tower Paddle Boards, a industry leader of stand up paddle boards, announced today that Galen Eckenroth will be joining the company as Director of Operations.
"We expect him to be a central force in Tower's development and in operating a world class SUP factory," explained CEO/Founder of Tower Paddle Boards, Stephan Aarstol.
Before landing the opportunity with Tower Paddle Boards, Galen swiftly moved up the ranks as part of Solatube International's operations team. Galen was an integral part of moving Solatube's manufacturing back to the United States.
"Working for Tower means getting paid to do what I love. A 12 hour day doesn't feel like a 12 hour day at work; it feels just like living my life and I'm excited to wake up the next day and do it all over again," says the San Diego native, Eckenroth. Galen will be moving to China in the fall of 2015 to supervise and improve Tower's overseas production.
Eckenroth graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cal State San Marcos in 2010 and was awarded the Outstanding Student Award from the Business Management department. Eckenroth's 15 years in the surfing community makes him a natural fit for the culture and ambition of Tower.
