TOWER Classic
PREMIUM Series Paddle Boards
The ORIGINAL invention by Tower in 2011 that disrupted the entire SUP industry, the world’s first 6” thick inflatable paddle boards. We increased iSUP thickness by 50%, which increased rigidity by 325%. Suddenly, you could enjoy the convenience and portability of an inflatable SUP with the stability and speed of a hard board. The SUP industry went from less than 1% inflatable paddle boards to over 90% today as every brand eventually copied our innovation.
We’re still one of the few brands who uses hand glued double layer construction, the gold standard of quality, which is critical when you want maximum rigidity and durability in a 6” inflatable SUP.
Tower iSUPs have received accolades all over the internet for well over a decade. The luxury magazine Robb Report titled one of our Premium Series iSUPs as the #1 SUP worldwide.

Inflatable Paddle Board FAQ
iSUP packages come with a high-pressure hand pump with a special H3 valve and a PSI gauge. It takes about 5-7 minutes to fully inflate your iSUP to the 10-12 PSI we recommend. They are safe to inflate up to about 20 PSI as a safety precaution so you don’t overinflate, but 10-12 PSI is all that’s necessary. Optionally, you can buy an electric pump where you set the desired inflation PSI level, hit start and it does the rest.
Yes, you can use a special high-pressure electric pump suitable for inflatable paddle boards. It will have the required H3 valve. You simply set the desired PSI, hit start, and it will auto-inflate the board. Note, most “inflatable” product pumps won’t cut it as they are not specialized high-pressure pumps, so you will need to buy a pump specifically for high-pressure inflatable SUPs. Additionally, while many people will try to use an air compressor jimmy rigged with an H3 valve, it is extremely easy to overinflate your iSUP this way and blow apart the seams. You board will be ruined. Obviously, use of any compressors voids your warranty.
Our most popular accessory is an electric pump as not everyone enjoys the pre-workout that inflating your paddle board represents. Once people get into the paddle boarding regularly, a carbon fiber paddle is a nice upgrade over the 3-piece fiberglass travel paddles that are included in our iSUP packages. iSUP backpacks are always a handy accessory if you travel a lot. And lastly, if you paddle in shallow water like rivers frequently, a 6” deep river fin is a nice alternative to have over the standard 9” SUP fin.
Extended Product Content
The Adventurer 2 ISUP is made from extremely rugged materials like those you’d find on the highly regarded Zodiac boats and extreme river rafts.
The amazing rigidity in the Adventurer 2 is created by the air pump expanding thousands of vertically oriented strands of identical length that connect the top deck to the bottom. This fiber technology is called drop-stitching, and it aids in the inflation process. A common misconception about inflatable paddle boards is that the interior of the board is solely air, but that’s not true with a Tower Paddle Boards SUP. The Adventurer 2 has interior fibers that expand once air is pumped in, which help inflate the board to its peak performance more quickly and with less air. When the board is inflated, these fibers form a structure that has the rigidity of a piece of plywood, and the thicker you inflate it, the more rigid it gets.
You can literally put the front tip of this Tower 10-foot paddle board on one chair and the rear tip on another chair and have a 200-pound person stand in the middle, and you’ll barely even see any flexing. Do this with most 4-inch inflatable SUPs and the middle will slouch almost to the floor. Even 3/4-inch plywood flooring would probably break over this almost-10-foot span.
A Viable EPS/Epoxy Board Alternative: We’re Not Kidding!
Traditionally, inflatable SUPs were only a consideration for traveling and easier storage. But thanks to the rigidity of the Tower Adventurer 2 10-foot paddle board, an inflatable SUP is now also a viable EPS/epoxy board alternative. Its performance in open-water environments is as good as, if not better than, traditional stand-up paddle boards. No longer will you have to worry about dings and dents on your paddle board. Our SUP boards are able to take a beating and still stay watertight!
But don’t take our word for it: Check out our inflatable paddle board reviews.
- Easier to Store: When rolled up, it’s 1 foot in diameter and 33 inches wide. You can save space and store one in the cubby cabin on a boat, take it with you on the plane worldwide, or haul it to your favorite secret mountain lake or river.
- Softer and Safer: You can play bumper boats with these inflatable paddle boards, and kids can jump from one board to another like they’re jumping on an inner tube. You won’t get knocked out in the waves, either.
- Less Expensive: The low prices of our ISUPs mean that you can order an extra one to keep on hand as a second board for travel or guests.
- Indestructible: Tower inflatable SUPs have been tested by being thrown off of three-story buildings, and they can even withstand being set down on gravel.
- Easier to Transport: There’s no need for roof racks. These ISUPs are about the size of a rolled sleeping bag, can easily fit in any car or boat, can be checked on a plane, and can even be strapped onto a bicycle or motorcycle.
- Easy on the Feet: While they are very rigid, the air does cushion your feet a lot more than a hard board, no matter how good the deck pad is.
Warning: Beware of Cheap Inflatable SUP Packages
Be wary of new boards made with a “fused process.” While they may be lighter, they lose rigidity and durability in this newer construction process. They are lower-quality boards overall, and they’re characterized by issues including:
- Poorly designed detachable fins that frequently fall off during use
- Cheap bags that are bundled in that you’ll never use
- A seriously annoying sagging issue that leads to wet feet
- Cheap, uncomfortable traction pads
- A 4-inch thickness not suitable flotation-wise for heavier paddlers
- Questionably designed inflation pumps that come apart
- Pressure gauges that are not integrated into the pump, so you have to pump, detach, check inflation, pump, detach, check, etc.
- Lack of a surf leash attachment

The Reviews Are In!
Awesome isup, have had a ton of fun on it. It’s super stable and fun with the kid too!
I bought 1 in 2016 and and one in 2017. The older one failed after 7 years. Well above my expectations. I kept them good always deflated after use and rinsed. The 6 yo still going. Just bought a new one.. company has great support and offers fare deals. Would never buy anything else.
Love taking this out to the river. I was at first skeptical of it holding 2 people because it doesn't look that big, but it was able to fit both me and my partner (combined weight 250lbs) on this adventurer 2 board.
I'm able to (kind of) carry this on my bike if I strap it to the front pizza rack that I have on it, but it is a bit tricky. The board fits super easily onto my toyota corolla though, with plenty of room to spare in the trunk.
I got it on a black friday sale for a decent price too, and my amex cc also had a special for $100 more off! Pretty decent deal. I would recommend this board.
It's by 2nd power this type the last one lasted five years with regular use. As long as I can buy one it's the only paddle board that I would consider. 5 star
I found that a Texsport 25"x 42" canvas duffle bag works perfectly for transportation and storing purposes. I bought for use at a vacation home in the Caribbean it was highly recommended by a friend that loves hers so I bought two. She did say the black area you stand on can get a little hot for bare feet so maybe wear water shoes or just keep it cool by splashing water on it. She still loves hers after a couple of years of use and said it was very durable and has had no problems with it. I have not used it yet (insert sad face) so I can't comment on my experience with the board or pump yet.
Love this board! I’ve tried a few inflatable‘s and this one is definitely more sturdy and better for cruising. The weight of the board is also balanced which makes it easier to carry. Very satisfied I am happier than I even expected!
I bought the Adventurer 2 at the beginning of summer and waited until fall to review it. I am super impressed. Good quality, easy to transport, easier than expected to inflate. The quality of the paddle in particular is great! Two minor drawbacks: 1.The strap feels very cheap. I tried to use it to haul the rolled-up board around initially, and while this is a great way to carry it, the strap shortness and thinness and the dull teeth on the buckle made it difficult. 2. The hose on the pump is always flailing around awkwardly, as is the top handle for the pump. A simple little 'grabber' for the hose, and lock switch for the handle would be game changers! Apart from this, really happy with the quality for the price. I've had 3 friends purchase Tower Boards this summer too and all have been equally impressed. The only thing they've all mentioned is wishing the cargo net on the front of the Adventurer 2 were a feature on all the boards.
After all the reading on Tower paddle board, I believe I had found a good board. Although we haven't tried on actual water, we did play around with it in our pool. Here are our comment:
1. The paddle does float in water. But on top section of the paddle don't drain easily. Wish they drill an small hole to have water leak out. After our playing around, the water got in the tube and don't drain out.
2. Bag - For the package, I wish they include a bag. Had to buy one.
Just purchased an Adventure 2 SUP paddle board. This thing is AWESOME, inflated it and was amazed at how ridged the board is. Received it on a Wednesday and was out on the lake Saturday.....ALL DAY. It is extremely light weight, so picking it up was super easy. I was able to stay balanced on it very easily due to its very sturdy construction. I had to give it up after about an hour to my 8 year old because she wanted to try it. 3 min later she was standing up and paddling around like a pro. So now I see a second purchase in the near future!!!!
The Adventurer 2 is an awesome board, easy to transport and doesn’t take long to air up using the hand pump. I’ve used it out on the lake multiple times and I love it. Very stable and moves great on the water.
